EXECTUTIVE FUNCTION SKILLS GROUP

Are you the parent of a male teen who shows little to no motivation to do anything? If so, I am talking to you. You have tried everything to help motivate your teen. You’ve tried alarm clocks, calendars, and taking away things, but nothing seems to work. This 8-week course is the answer you are looking for.

You will notice a positive change in his school performance, at home, and in his relationships with others.

This group is designed to help your teen develop the skills they need to succeed in school, at home, and in life. In a supportive and confidential setting, participants will learn how to:

• Set goals and priorities
• Plan and organize tasks
• Manage their time effectively
• Break down large tasks into smaller, more manageable steps
• Avoid procrastination
• Stay focused and on track
• Deal with distractions
• Self-monitor and evaluate their progress

This group is led by an experienced and qualified therapist specializing in teen behaviors. He uses a variety of evidence-based approaches to help participants develop the skills they need to succeed.
